Objective
Demonstrate how the Sending State caseworker can attach a fully electronic 100A created in NEICE or upload a manually created one to send to their ICPC state coordinator who will transmit to the Receiving State.
Overview
An ICPC case requires an 100A for each child in the case. NEICE allows you to create a digital 100A or add a 100A that has been signed manually and scanned and upload it to the case.
Steps for creating a fully electronic 100A
To create a digital 100A and capture data, follow these steps:
- On the documents tab select the button Create/Upload 100A.
- Select the child if there are multiple children in the case (There must be a 100A for each child in the case. These 100A’s must be included in the initial case Transmittal to the receiving state.
- Enter all the data in the 100A
- Select the Save button and save the draft 100A.
- Access the Draft 100A using the View icon in the Action column.
- Select Add Signature.
- Select Save Signature.
- The 100A should now be in status "Uploaded".
Steps for adding a manually signed, paper 100A
To upload a manually signed and scanned 100A and ensure the data on the paper 100A is accessible by NEICE, follow these steps:
- On the documents tab select the button Create/Upload 100A.
- Select the specific child if there are multiple children in the case.
- Enter all the data in the 100A.
- Select the Save and Upload button.
- When NEICE displays the Upload Document screen with the Child Name and Document Type filled in, select the Browse button and locate the scanned 100A.
- Select the Save button and NEICE will associate the 100A – Initial with the specific child.
- The 100A should now be in the status Uploaded.
